Maze display of 250,000 books




This is my kind of maze. ;-)

This enormous book labyrinth was designed and built by Marcos Saboya and Gaulter Pupo, Brazilian artists, plus over fifty volunteers. On display at the Clore Ballroom and the Royal Festival Hall, England, it's titled aMAZEme, and is made of 250,000 books, used and new alike. Apparently the maze design of the display is based on a fingerprint belonging to a writer by the name of Jorge luis Borges (Go figure =P). It covers roughly 1640 square feet (500 square metres), and is roughly 8 feet (2.5 metres) tall at its highest section.
