Wii remote head-tracking trick

Video:

I apologize for the temporary hiatus!

Johnny Lee, from the Human-computer interaction institute of Carnegi Mellon University, tried out a whole new way to experience 3D and deep immersion game play. By simply using a Nintendo Wii Remote, a dismantled Wii sensor, and a Laptop, he managed to program a "system" that has surprising depth considering its simple (though rather odd) setup.

Being a complete geek of anything Nintendo, I'm fascinated by this concept; I have to wonder, though, why we haven't gotten a Gaming system like this yet, considering it doesn't require an impossible amount of material and programming. But regardless of whether you love Video games or not, this form of relatively amateur technology is very impressive!
